As a group we ventured to the Grand Millennium hotel in Sukhumvit for their brunch. Having had my fair share of brunches in New York, this had a lot to live up to.
It most certainly did as well. Ranging from New Zealand green muscles, to oysters, to perfectly cooked beef and duck, the Grand Millennium has the concept of brunching nailed. With unlimited drinks, it is fair to say that our physical conditions represented a sine graph. The initial peak from seeing the food, the trough of the initial food coma, followed by the next peak of the 'wine'. The obvious ending from 3 hours of gluttony was an early bed and a stomach the size of a beach ball!
Not very classy I know to have mint jelly with beef but I just love it! |
